For over 20 years, West Lake Hills has been my home — a place where I’ve raised my family, practiced residential architecture, contributed to local causes, and built meaningful relationships with neighbors. You could say that I married into the community….my husband is a West Lake Hills native and we are fortunate to be living in his childhood home. Our collective roots cover over 50 years of West Lake Hills history and as a longtime resident, I have built strong relationships with the people and places that comprise this community. My professional work as an architect has taught me a sense of place and to listen deeply, think creatively, and solve problems with safety and beauty in mind. As an artist, I celebrate individual and community expression and the role creativity plays in bringing people together. Through it all, I have always believed in one thing: individuals and community thrive when all voices are heard and respected.
Why I’m Running:
I want to bring my experience in design, collaboration, and community service to the City Council. I believe that smart intentional planning, meaningful engagement, and imaginative leadership can help us protect what we love and shape what’s next so the community can continue to prosper.
Fun personal note: When I’m not in my studio or attending a neighborhood meeting, you’ll likely find me exploring local trails with my family or working in my garden…..or at a local coffee shop! I hope you’ll seek me out for a visit!
